Lake Rules

Equipment & Requirements

  • Please do not bring your own landing nets, weigh slings, cradles or tripods – we provide all of these on site to ensure consistent fish care.
  • Waders are required, especially for handling and photographone larger fish. Don’t forget to bring yours along.

 

Arrivals & Departure

  • Arrival from 12pm on Saturday
  • Departure by 10am the following Saturday

 

General Angling Rules

  • A maximum of 3 rods per angler
  • Rods must not be left unattended at any time
  • No braided mainline, and mainline must be a minimum of 15lb
  • Micro-barb hooks only
  • The main gate should remain locked at all times for everyone’s safety
  • No drugs are permitted on site
  • Please respect the wildlife and avoid cutting or damaging any trees or vegetation

 

Bait Policy

  • No nuts, plastic baits or particles are allowed
  • Maize and particle mixes are available to purchase on site
  • Pellet and boilies are available on site. Only reputable boilies are allowed
  • Maize and pellet must be bought on site
  • Please ensure all bait purchased is paid for in full before leaving

 

Fish Handling Rules

  • Please use fish care antiseptic on any hook holds or marks before returning the fish
  • Fish should not be lifted from the water in the landing net. Always slide the sling underneath first
  • Any fish over 30lb must stay in the water for photos – waders are needed for this
  • Carp sacks are not permitted.
  • Flotation slings are allowed

 

Additional Rules

  • Bait boats are permitted
  • No fires are allowed on the site
